there is something etherial and magical about dandelion heads. I know they are weeds and they ruin lawns, but growing up in Yorkshire I used to love 'Dandelion and Burdock' pop. We used to huff and puff at dandelion 'clocks' as if by some magic it could actually be a way of telling the time.

Those days are long gone, but my fascination with the delicacy of the flower head remains - even though I know it is a weed.....
